Mer-Mirror Construction - Exquisite Sea
Shelled Mirrors:
These sea shelled mirrors are beautifully
embellished with an array of shells from
around the globe. The carefully chosen sea
shells are attached to the frame with an
industrial adhesive. The sea shells are
designed in an amazing mosaic pattern,
fitting the entire frame .Each custom made
wooden frame is constructed using pocket
screws, joining biscuits and industrial
adhesives. Hanging hardware is bolted
through the entire frame, ¼ inch quality
mirrors are secured and a luan back is
added. The sides are framed in a wooden rope
design molding painted white to match the
frame. Heavy gauge wire hangs the mirrors
safely and securely. The construction and
design of these sea shelled mirrors takes
many days to complete and each original
piece will vary slightly in pattern as no
two shells are alike. Custom wooden crates
are built to ship these mirrors. They are
large and heavy and ship in the freight
category. Ashore-Décor will personally
deliver your mirror within a 200 mile radius
of the studio on Amelia Island, Florida. We
travel up and down the East Coast
Frequently. Please contact us if you are
within our delivery range, otherwise
shipping quotes are available when you order
your mirror. Due to the custom design of
these sea shelled mirrors, it is the policy
of Ashore-Décor that they cannot be
returned. If the mirror should be damaged in
shipping, it is insured and will be
replaced.
Color Schemes:
There are two color schemes available in our
Mer-Mirror selection, each has it’s own item
number and name. These numbers are the
custom mirrors: MM01. MM02, MM03, MM04,
MM05, MM06.
Coral Reef: The sea shells used to
design the Coral Reef scheme are all natural
tones, tan, brown, gold and white, natural
sugar starfish and brown nautilus. Clear
marbles add a bit of glimmer and reflect
light. The Coral Reef designs look great in
any setting.
White Sands: The sea shells used to
design the White Sands scheme are all white,
light tans, pearl colors, pearlized nautilus
and white enameled starfish. Pearl marbles
add a bit of glitz and reflect light. The
White Sands designs look great in any
setting and especially in white room motifs.
